Having lived in Hamilton for many years and with a strong passion for connecting with people through arts, music, and touring theatre, it is a natural fit for Greg and Trish Thomson of local building suppliers Thomsons ITM to donate to the Waikato Regional Theatre via its Business Collective Support programme.
Innovation, creative flair and success in business run in the Thomson family, so they are thrilled to have the opportunity to help bring the Waikato Regional Theatre to life.
Greg and Trish firmly believe this amazing new performing arts centre will bring more people into the heart of the city from far and wide. Certainly, the local community will benefit from theatre-goers enjoying inspiring performances and world-class entertainment right here in Hamilton, in the heart of the Waikato.
With a determination to succeed, Greg and Trish established Thomsons ITM in the early 1980s with a bare block of land in Whatawhata, a portable sawmill and 100m3 of untreated pine. Over the last 40 years, this great local business has expanded to include stores in Hamilton and Papakura alongside their original Whatawhata site. Each outlet is tailored to service the needs of residential and commercial builders, rural customers and DIYers.
Thomsons ITM is proud to put customers first and has built its success through providing expert advice, great service, and stocking quality products.
