Here are photos of the Waikato Regional Theatre site from February 2022 to February 2025. Most are from the early days as the Hamilton Hotel was being de-constructed behind its façade, or from recent times as the structure has been visible, as work was hidden from this view during most of 2023.
3 February 2022 - scaffolding in place for Hotel roof encapsulation.

8 February 2022 - Hotel roof encapsulated for asbestos removal.

28 April 2022 - Hotel roof is stripped of tiles.

16 June 2022 - Hotel roof rafters are gone.

30 August 2022 - only the façade remains from the Hotel.

5 December 2022 - first crane is up.

19 December 2022 - second crane is assembled.

21 December 2022 - second crane is in place.

28 June 2023 - construction appears on the left as it reaches street level.

19 February 2024 - first pillars appear on the left.

6 May 2024 - steelwork reaches the top of the façade.

1 August 2024 - the shape of the auditorium becomes apparent.

19 August 2024 - the Theatre's roof structure starts to be installed.

8 October 2024 - the frame of the fly tower is being assembled.

13 December 2024 - the full structure of the fly tower in now in place (please excuse the reflection of fingers).

24 February 2025 - final stages of the fly tower's cladding being added.

25 February 2025 - fly tower is clad on three sides.
