Physical on-site works for the Waikato Regional Theatre got underway in mid-October when Hamilton was at the Level 3 Covid Alert Level.
At that point the media picked up on the Hamilton City Council’s announcement that the Riff Raff Statue was being removed from Embassy Park for the duration of the Theatre’s construction.
